Villa Mayr

Two sisters, one single, the other with family wanted to live together. The location is a suburb of a small Swiss city. A slight slope connect the site with a perspective toward a wide mountain view. The building structure is horizontally layered with a massive basement and a light wood construction – transparent and complex, connecting and separating. The prefabricated wood construction and its glazing’s is highly energy efficient and using passive cooling methods. The roof connects the two apartments and offers two skywalks ending up in a shared sauna cube
